“If a student is reading this at this moment, the portfolio matters a lot because there are a lot of kids out there with good grades or excellent grades, but the question always is ‘What makes you stand out?’ My piano and chess have already made it a wonderful piece, and, of course, the psychology course. I advise everyone to fill out their portfolio early on.”
Hi, I’m Hamssadhwane, a 17-year-old girl from Kampala, Uganda, with a dream of becoming a psychologist specializing in helping children with special needs. Today, I want to share my remarkable journey, which was made possible with the support of Educate Online.

Back in Uganda, my educational options were limited, and psychology was a subject I was deeply passionate about. However, it wasn’t offered in my high school curriculum.
